Abstract Tread wear and rolling contact fatigue (RCF) damage propagated on railway wheels are the two extremely important focal points as they can tremendously deteriorate wheel/rail interactions hunting stability destroy wheel surface materials, subsequently, cut down lifetime of wheels. The on-board anti-slip controllers essence aiming to hold back striking slipping powered wheelsets under low-adhesion conditions. This paper intends investigate impact control tread diverse friction To this end, a prediction model for evolution account comprehensive vehicle-track interaction is extended, where non-Hertzian algorithm used. Furthermore, effect frictional at considered. simulation results indicate that full-slip conditions with braking effort. amount observably higher than dry condition. It further suggested prone suffering more serious issues threshold compared lower one.
